Joshua Tree

With our gas tank full, we got an early start on our way to Joshua tree in an attempt to beat the heat. It was over 90 by the time we arrived and quickly crossed 100. Maybe it was the heat, or maybe the end of a long trip, but Coco was officially over it and could barely leave the air conditioning to join us. The desolate cactus gardens were majestic, and the rock formations were truly otherworldly. By the time we started seeing Joshua Trees we were on a mission to lunch, but it was worth the excursion and I won’t stop thinking about it for a long time. — All shot on film, Canon Sureshot, Contax T2, Nikon F2
