Rainfair claims they were established in 1819, and I really wish I knew more of their stuff, can't imagine they were making these for riding around with Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe. The colors and pattern of this poncho are great, it's in good shape, although the hood shows some signs of wear in the protective waterproof tape, the body looks to be in good shape and free of damage.
